2024 Presidential Elections: Candidate Mamadou Bocar Ba Chairs Electoral Meeting in Boghe

On 23 June, the “Mamadou Bocar Ba President 2024” coalition organized an electoral meeting in Boghe after having held, in the morning, two campaign meetings in the localities of Silbe and Sinthian Diama, in the district of Dar El Barka (Moughataa of Boghe).

Speaking to the inhabitants of Boghe, candidate Mamadou Bocar Ba expressed his optimism regarding the mobilization of his supporters in the town, stressing that this denotes their aspiration for the change he advocates.

He indicated that successive regimes are responsible for the evils that undermine the Mauritanian State, such as discrimination, the rise of hatred, communitarianism, mismanagement, and corruption, among others, telling his audience that he proposes the vision of a united, just, and egalitarian Mauritania.

Denouncing the failures of the general policies of the State adopted so far, the candidate promised to put an end to the suffering of Mauritanian citizens by tackling as a priority the problem of agricultural land grabbing without the consent of the communities, to challenge access to civil status documents, the management of which should be the responsibility of municipalities, and the officialization of national languages to consolidate national unity, and consequently, equal opportunities between the different components of the society.
