On 18 June, in Selibabi, the candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, Mamadou Bocar Ba, chaired an electoral meeting organized by the coordination of the ‘Ba Mamadou Bocar President 2024′ coalition in the wilaya of Guidimagha.
In a speech to his supporters, the presidential candidate thanked them for the gathering despite the high temperatures in Selibabi, reminding them of the need to elect the one who can move the country forward and whose program meets the expectations and concerns of citizens.
In this context, he pointed out that the country has enormous potential on all levels but is poorly directed.
He then reviewed the points constituting the road map of his program, including the imperative of strengthening social cohesion through the fight against discrimination and the sharing of wealth, the officialization of national languages, and the fight against all forms of bad governance to allow Mauritanian citizens to benefit from the wealth of their country.
Mr. Bocar also pledged, in the event of victory, to increase civil servants’ salaries and retirement pensions before calling on the crowd to vote massively for him on election day.
