On Friday evening, presidential candidate Biram Dah Abeid organized a campaign rally in the city of Wompou, Guidimagha, on Friday evening.
In front of his supporters, the candidate reviewed the broad outlines of his electoral program, criticizing the previous successive regimes that he said “looted the people’s wealth.”
He questioned what the current and previous regimes had done for the people, saying that the current elections are an opportunity to change this reality.
He noted that one of the reasons for the current president’s victory in the 2019 presidential elections was the low rate of monitoring of voting stations by the opposition, which reached 30 percent at the time.
The candidate urged his supporters to vote heavily on polling day, protect their votes from “fraud,” monitor polling stations internally and externally, and not sell their conscience for money.
