President of Republic Meets UN Secretary-General

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Chairperson of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, met Friday in Bari (Italy) on the sidelines of the G7 Summit Mr. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of regional and international developments, foremost of which is the situation in the Middle East, especially the developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories and issues of common interest.
