Minister of Economy Receives New IMF Resident Representative

On 4 June, in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdessalam Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, received Mr. Youness Zahar, the resident representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Mauritania, accompanied by the outgoing resident representative, Ms. Anta Ndoye.

The meeting allowed both parties to review the areas of cooperation between our country and this international financial organization and the means to strengthen and develop them, particularly in the economic development area.
