Minister of Interior Receives UN Secretary General’s Personal Representative for West Africa, Sahel

On 29 May, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization, received Mr. Leonardo Santos Simao, the personal representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations and head of the office of United Nations for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), accompanied by Ms. Lila Peters Yahia, the UN Resident Coordinator in Mauritania.

The meeting focused on the cooperative relations between Mauritania and the United Nations.
