Mauritania Participates in Russia-Islamic International Economic Forum

His Excellency, the Ambassador of Mauritania to Russia, Damman Ould Ammar participated in the 15th edition of the Russian-Islamic International Economic Forum on behalf of our country.
The forum was held from May 15-19 in Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, under the slogan “Trust and Cooperation”.
H.E the ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Azzedine Ould Mokhtar Ould Daddah, in charge of mission at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Our delegation held high-level meetings, including a meeting with Tatar President Rustam Minnikhanov, and participated in several workshops and meetings with Russian economic operators who expressed interest in investment opportunities and great incentives to encourage investment in Mauritania.
During the various workshops of the forum, a short film produced by the Investment Promotion Agency was screened on investment opportunities in Mauritania, which is characterized by the multiplicity and diversity of economic resources.
The Kazan Economic Summit is an annual global event aimed at expanding trade cooperation between the business community in Russia and the countries of the Islamic world.
