President of Republic Inaugurates 60 Housing Units, Launches Income-Generating Activities Program for Young People in Kiffa

On 11 May, in Kiffa, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, supervised the inauguration of 60 housing units as part of the project to construct 368 housing units in the city of Kiffa, within the framework of housing social work carried out by the General Delegation for National Solidarity and the Fight Against Exclusion (TAAZOUR) in all the regional capitals of the country.

The President of the Republic visited the project and learned about the models of housing reserved for vulnerable groups. He also listened to detailed explanations of the characteristics of social housing and the number concerning it at the national level.

The President of the Republic then supervised the launch of the program of income-generating activities for the benefit of young people in the city of Kiffa.

The project will finance 285 productive activities covering 200 income-generating activities and will distribute 15 tanks for transporting water, 50 motorcycles, 10 vehicles for taxi use, and 10 other three-wheelers.
