Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in the Third Session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzough, participated, on Tuesday in the Qatari capital, Doha, in the launch of the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In his speech, The minister stressed that this forum represents an ideal ground for coordinating efforts between countries linked by long-standing cultural and civilizational relations rooted in the days of the prosperity and strength of the Islamic State, and nurtured over time by mutual contributions in the service of science, arts, universal values and common human knowledge.
The minister called on the participants in the forum to unite and redouble their efforts and invest their influence and means to impose an immediate stop to the dirty war of extermination waged by the Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip, ensure the provision of food, medicine and all the requirements of a decent life for the displaced from the Gaza Strip, return the displaced to their homes, and provide conditions of protection for the brotherly Palestinian people.
He also called on participants to explore investment opportunities in Mauritania in the productive sectors and to learn about the advantages and guarantees granted to all investors.
