Mauritanian News Agency and Maghreb Arab Press Agency Sign Partnership Agreement

A cooperation and partnership agreement was signed Thursday in Rabat (Morocco) between the Mauritanian Press Agency (MAP) and Its counterpart the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP).
This agreement allows the two agencies to provide information services free of charge and mutually, and to use everything related to multimedia content (images, video, audio, graphics) and exploit them in their newsletters.
The agreement also provides that priority and preference shall be given to information provided by one of the two agencies with regard to events occurring in the two countries.
The two parties agreed to enhance the exchange of experiences and information with regard to the central and regional editorial departments, marketing, human resources management and information systems used.
The agreement was signed by Mokhtar Malal Dia, Director General of the Mauritanian Press Agency, and Fouad Aref, Director General of the Maghreb Arab Press one (MAP).
In an exchange of speeches, each of them focused on the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two agencies in all fields in line with the strong level of cooperation between the two brotherly peoples and wise leaderships.
