The 33rd session of the FAO Regional Conference for Africa (ARC33) opened on 18 April in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, with the participation of the delegation of our country led by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Memma Ould Beibate.
The opening ceremony of this three-day conference took place under the presidency of Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch.
Participants in this conference, organized under the auspices of Morocco, are seeking practical solutions to food security, improving agricultural production, and defining priorities with FAO for the next two years to achieve a sustainable change in food and agricultural systems across the continent.
Organized under the theme “Resilient Food and Agricultural Systems and Inclusive Rural Transformations,” the forum will discuss best practices, explore partnerships and opportunities, and provide regional guidance on transforming African agri-food systems.
