Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets With Canadian Counterpart

On 18 April, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, President of the Executive Council of the African Union, met with Ms. Melanie Joly,the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, on the sidelines of the meetings of G7 foreign ministers, being held in Rome.

The meeting focused on the excellent cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of the two friendly people, as well as issues of common interest.
