Mauritanian Delegation Holds Talks with IMF Assistant Managing Director in Washington

The Mauritanian delegation participating in the Spring Meetings 2024 organized by the Bretton Woods institutions for the period from April 15 to 20 in Washington held a working session with the Assistant Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kenji Okamura.
This session was devoted to discussing the economic reform program adopted by our country with the support of the IMF aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability, strengthening fiscal and monetary policy frameworks, supporting sustainable growth, and reducing poverty.
The session was attended by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Sustainable Development, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the Central Bank, Her Excellency, the Ambassador of our country in Washington, the advisers to His Excellency the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Inspector.
