Prime Minister Receives Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, received, on Tuesday, at his office at the Prime Ministry, Mr. Ibrahim Thiaw, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of cooperation between our country and this organization, ways to enhance and develop it, and issues of common interest.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Environment, Mrs. Lalia Ali Camara, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Mrs. Aicha Val Ferges, and the Advisor to the Prime Minister in charge of the Environment, Mr. Othman Ould Boubacar.
