Commissioner for Human Rights Receives Chairman of the Committee on Civil Liberties and Justice of the European Parliament

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Relations with Civil Society,
Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, received on Wednesday evening at his office
in Nouakchott Mr. Juan Fernando López Aguilar, Member of the European Parliament and
Chairman of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European
Parliament.
The meeting discussed various areas of cooperation between our country and the European
Union, especially with regard to the Commission areas of intervention.
