Minister of National Education Participates in Maghreb Conference on Digital Transformation of Education

Minister of National Education and Educational System Reform Mokhtar Ould Dahi participated, Monday morning in Tunis, in the work of the Maghreb High-Level Regional Forum on the Digital Transformation of Education in Support of the Fourth Goal of Sustainable Development.

This forum, which is attended by ministers of education in the Maghreb countries and experts from UNESCO and partner international organizations, aims to strengthen cooperation and political and technical action on the data of the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals in the context of raising awareness of challenges, in order to find solutions, and strengthen international commitment to better reporting and greater use of data in political decision-making.

The conference, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), also seeks to strengthen the political and technical dialogue on digital transformation in education, and to introduce the tools provided by UNESCO and its technical and financial partners in the field.

Among its objectives is to strengthen the capacity of the Maghreb community of practice as the main focus of support in enriching the report’s analysis of SDG IV and contributing.
