The President of the Republic Chairs the Conclusion of the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union

His Excellency the President of the Republic, the rotating Chairman of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, chaired, on Sunday evening in Addis Ababa, the closing session of the 37th ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, which continued until the early hours of Monday morning.

This session, in which our country assumed from the Republic of the Comoros, the rotating presidency of the African Union, was held under the slogan “Education of Africa adapted to the twenty-first century”, and its central theme is “The problem of education”. Her work witnessed the discussion of many international and regional issues, especially the Palestinian issue, developments in the security situation in the African continent, as well as institutional reform of the organs of the African Union, and the implementation of the Development Agenda 2063.
