Floating Liquefaction Platform Approaching Entry to the Gas Production Site of the Ahmeyim Turtle field

The Ministry of Petroleum, Mines and Energy said that the floating natural gas liquefaction platform FLNG called Jimmy is preparing to enter the common border between Mauritania and Senegal, in preparation for reaching its final destination and using it to produce and liquefy natural gas within the facilities of the Great Turtle Field Ahmeyim GTA.
The ministry said in a statement published on Wednesday evening, through its Facebook page, that the floating unit for the production and storage of gas FPSO is close to entering the port of Tananariv in the Canary Islands of the Kingdom of Spain, where it will undergo the necessary technical checks before starting to exploit it within the system of facilities of the Great Turtle Field Ahmeyim.
It Also considered the arrival of the gas liquefaction vessel FLNG to the production site and its final integration into the facilities system as a historic moment in the GTA gas production project, which is more than 90% complete and has reached advanced stages of integration of its components in preparation for the start of production.
