President of Republic Receives Democratic Opposition Institution’s Supervisory Council

On 9 January, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received the Supervisory Council of the Democratic Opposition Institution, led by the President of the Council, Mr. Hamadi Sidel Mokhtar.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the Council made a statement in which he thanked His Excellency the President of the Republic for receiving them, considering that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss several issues, the most important of which were those relating to problems faced by citizens.

The meeting was also an opportunity to talk about the problems of the institution and the challenges it faces in fulfilling the mission entrusted to it by the Mauritanian legislator.

Mr. Hamadi Sidel Mokhtar added that the meeting took place in a good atmosphere and that His Excellency, the President of the Republic, was attentive to everything raised during it.
