On Wednesday HE Sidi Ali Ould Sidi Ali presented his credentials, to HE President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Said, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Full Authority of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the sisterly Republic of Tunisia.
Following the delivery of the credentials, HE Tunisian President Kais Said singled out HE the Ambassador for a reception at the Presidential Palace in Carthage, conveying to him the greetings of HE President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and his wishes for good health and further progress and prosperity for the brotherly Tunisian people.
He also spoke about the history, depth and solidity of the relationship between the two brotherly Mauritanian and Tunisian countries and peoples, calling for the need to consolidate relations to serve the common interest of the two countries.
For his part, the Tunisian President conveyed his greetings to the President of the Republic and his wishes for health and happiness for him personally and further progress and prosperity for the Mauritanian people.
The credentials presentation ceremony took place in the presence of H.E. Nabil Ammar, Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Presidential Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs and First Counselor at the Mauritanian Embassy, Mohamed Abderrahmane Sidina.
