President of Republic Oversees Inauguration of Three Logistics Platforms for Storing Fish

On Sunday 17 December in the city of Atar, H.E the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, supervised the inauguration of three logistics platforms for storing fish in each of (Atar – Zouerate – Akjoujt), as part of the celebrations commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the National Independence Day.

With the launch of these platforms, the National Fish Distribution Company has been able to complete (11) logistics platforms throughout the wilayas of the country, in addition to a fish processing hall in Nouakchott, (47) distribution centers, (3) cold rooms, (33) containers, and (21) trucks.

The company covers (15) Wilayas, (63) provinces and (42) municipalities, and its daily distribution rate reaches (45) tons at the national level, through (458) distribution points, while attracting (1050) workers, in which the percentage of women constitutes 56%.
