President of Republic Arrives in the City of Atar to Launch Package of Development Projects

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived at noon today, Sunday, in the city of Atar, the capital of the Wilaya of Adrar, as part of a working and informational visit during which he will supervise the launch of a number of development projects.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was received, upon his descent from the stairs of the plane, by the Wali of Adrar, Mr. Abdallah Ould Mohamed Mahmoud, the Commander of the Third Military Region, Colonel Mohamed Al-Emine Mohamed Bilal, the President of the Regional Council of the Adrar region, Mr. Mohamed Ould chrif Ould Abdallah, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Atar, Mr. Ibrahim. Ould Mohamed Ould Ebdebah, the Hakim of Atar Province, Mr. Cheikh Saïd Bakili, and the province’s deputies.

His Excellency the President of the Republic reviewed units of the armed forces that gave him a salute of honor, before shaking hands with the executives and notables of this Wilaya.

The residents of Adrar Province gave a warm popular welcome to His Excellency the President of the Republic, as citizens lined up in queues along the sides of the road taken by the presidential motorcade, carrying enlarged pictures of the President of the Republic and banners appreciating the achievements done during the last four years for the benefit of various regions of the country.
