Chinese Communist Party Mission Holds Seminar on “Modernization of Society According to Chinese Model”
On 30 November, in Nouakchott, a delegation from the Foreign Relations Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), currently visiting our country, led by Ms. Rao Huihua, the Director of the International Exchange Center of the Party’s Foreign Relations Department, held a seminar entitled “Modernizing society according to the Chinese model”, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Yahya Ould Horma, the Vice Ppresident of the “Insaf” Party.
Ms. Rao Huihua pointed out that Chinese society went through several stages after the founding of the Communist Party in 1921, namely the stage of revolution and the stage of wars, to transform itself after 1949 from an underdeveloped country to the second largest economy in the world. She pointed out that 2010 marked a turning point in the Chinese economy, as it marked the narrowing of the gap between the Chinese economy and that of the United States of America.
The head of the Chinese mission estimated that the policies carried out by the ruling Communist Party have enabled the Chinese population, which numbers one billion four hundred million people, to promote an advanced education system, provide health insurance, and achieve well-being, noting that the huge population has made significant contributions to the progress of human civilization as a whole through the label ‘made in China’.
In the field of IT, Ms. Rao Huihua pointed out that a visitor from the People’s Republic of China sees that all transactions are carried out by mobile payment. “For 70 years, since the establishment of modern China, we have not taken the initiative to provoke wars, nor have we invaded an inch of another country, relying on promoting security and peace,” she said. The PCC delegation is visiting our country at the invitation of the “Insaf” Party.
