Mauritania Signs Agreement with WFP to Boost Social Protection

The Minister of Social Work, Childhood and Family, Safia Ment Entehah, signed, Tuesday in Nouakchott, with the Resident Representative of the World Food Program, Ms. Kendall Samba, a partnership agreement to strengthen social protection in our country for the period 2023-2028.

This agreement aims to promote the social protection agenda, develop new initiatives, ensure equitable access to basic social services for vulnerable populations, enhance opportunities for women’s economic, educational and social empowerment, and strengthen malnutrition prevention activities.
