President of Republic Receives Presidents of French-Speaking Media Regulator Network

On 17 November, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received he presidents of the French-Speaking Media Regulator Network (REFRAM). 

These are Mr. Boubacar Dieng, the REFRAM Vice President, President of Senegal’s National Council for Audiovisual Regulation, Ms. Latifa Akharbach, the President of the High Authority of Audiovisual Communication, REFRAM’s Chairperson, Mr. Remi Prosper Moroti, the President of the African Economic Community Regulators Network, and President of Benin’s High Council of Communication, and Herve Goudcher, the representative of France’s Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Babacar Dieng and Ms. Latifa Akharbach made a statement on behalf of the delegation, in which they thanked His Excellency the President of the Republic for the warm welcome and the attention given to the forum organized by Mauritania’s Press and Broadcasting High Authority, and devoted to examining the achievements, challenges, and aspirations of the audiovisual field actors in the light of digital transformation.
