Government Spokesman: Mauritania Officially and Popularly Condemned the Aggression Against the Palestinian People

The Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Minerals, Government Spokesman, Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, stressed that Mauritania’s position on what the Palestinian people are facing is clear and unequivocal, as expressed by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, with discontent and condemnation at the joint Saudi-African and Arab-Islamic summits, and in his tweets on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), as expressed by the government and the people on many occasions.

In response to a question, while commenting on the results of the cabinet meeting Thursday evening in Nouakchott, accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports and Relations with Parliament, Mr. Ahmed Sid’Ahmed Die, he denied the rumors of some of the possibility of contacts with the Zionist entity, calling on media professionals to be vigilant in such cases that some use to spread rumors to achieve private goals.
