President of the Republic Congratulates the Palestinian President on the Anniversary of the Declaration of the Palestinian State

The President of the Republic Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani sent on Tuesday a congratulatory message to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Abou Mazen on the occasion of the commemoration of the declaration of the Palestinian state.

In this message, His Excellency reiterated his keenness to continue efforts to strengthen and develop the existing cooperation relations between Mauritania and the State of Palestine.

The telegram reads as follows:

“Your Excellency and dear brother,

On the occasion of the commemoration of the declaration of the Palestinian State, I am pleased to express to you, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Mauritanian people, my warmest congratulations and sincere expressions of sympathy for the victims of the heinous massacres committed against unarmed citizens in Gaza and the West Bank.

I also renew our keenness to continue efforts to strengthen and develop the existing relations of cooperation between our two countries to serve the interests of our two brotherly peoples.
