Special Envoys Delegation for the Sahel visits the G5 Sahel Defense College

On 25 October, the delegation of the European Union special envoys to the Sahel countries, which is visiting our country these days, paid an inspection visit to the Defense College of the Group of Five Sahel States, in Nouakchott.

The 54-person European delegation is headed by the Special Representative of the European Union for the Sahel, Emanuela Claudia Del Re

Upon arrival at the college, the delegation was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the college, Major General Ibrahim Val Al-Shaibani, where he gave a detailed presentation on the establishment of the college, its objectives and the tasks entrusted to it, pointing to the close relationship between the college and the European Union.

The delegation also visited the Operational Simulation Center and the Educational Center at the College, during which Lieutenant Colonel Eng. Muhammad Bahit gave explanations about the role of the Operational Simulation Center and the tasks entrusted to it.
