President of Republic Meets EU Commissioner for International Partnerships

On 25 October, in Brussels, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, held a meeting with Ms. Jutta Urpilainen, the EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, to discuss ways to strengthen and develop cooperation and partnership between our country and the European Union in various areas.

His Excellency the President of the Republic had a similar meeting with Mr. Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. 

He also delivered a speech during a session on the energy transition and green hydrogen within the framework of the Global Gateway Forum organized by the European Union, in which he presented our country’s capabilities in the field of renewable energies and called on Africa to occupy the place it deserves in this area thanks to its renewable energy sources available.
