Foreign Minister Receives Benelux Special Envoys

On 25 October, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received Messrs. Tijmen Rooseboom (Netherlands), Bart de Groof (Belgium) and Gorges Ternes (Luxemburg), all three Benelux special envoys for the Sahel.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed issues of common interest and cooperation to address security and development challenges in the Sahel region.
