Water Minister Meets With Swiss Development Agency’s Director of Programs

On 17 October, Mr. Ismail Ould Abdel Fattah, the Minister of Water and Sanitation, held discussions with Ms. Demka Stanishev Skye, the Director of Programs of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

It was on the sidelines of the Global Workshop on Conjunctive Management of Surface Water and Groundwater in Geneva.

The discussions focused on ways to strengthen cooperative relations between Mauritania and Switzerland, particularly in the field of water and sanitation.

The meeting also addressed possible means enabling the department to benefit from technical and scientific support from Swiss organizations.
