On 11 October, in Nouakchott, Mr. Ismail Ould Abdel Fattah, the Minister of Water and Sanitation, received HE Ms. Synthia Krischt, the U.S. Ambassador to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and further develop them, particularly in research and evaluation studies of water resources in the southern areas of Mauritania carried out by the U.S. Geological Survey.
