President of Republic Congratulates German Counterpart

On 2 October, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, sent a message of congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of his country.

In this telegram, the President of the Republic affirmed his eagerness to continue efforts to strengthen and develop the cooperative relations between Mauritania and Germany.

The message reads as follows:

“Excellency,

On the occasion of your country’s celebration of its National Day, I have the pleasure of expressing to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, wishing the friendly German people further progress and prosperity.

I also reiterate our desire to continue efforts to strengthen and develop cooperative relations between our two countries to serve the interests of our two friendly people.
