On 25 September, in Nouakchott, Hananna Ould Sidi, the Minister of National Defense, met with a delegation from the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), led by its Secretary General, Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi.
This meeting is part of the four-day working visit that the delegation of the Alliance is currently paying to Mauritania, during which it will meet with some military officials from the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The visit program of the IMCTC delegation also includes an inspection visit to the headquarters of the G-5 Sahel Defense College in Nouakchott and the organization of a seminar to present the Alliance and its objectives.
On the second day of the visit, the delegation held a meeting devoted to examining means to strengthen cooperative relations between Mauritania and the IMCTC, particularly in the areas assigned to the Department of National Defense and the fight against terrorism.
