Foreign Minister Meets EU Special Representative for Sahel

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, met with Mrs. Emanuela Claudia Del Re, the European Union Special Representative for the Sahel, on Tuesday evening on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly in New York.

The meeting focused on ways to enhance cooperation between Mauritania and the European Union in ways to promote peace and stability in Africa, particularly the Sahel Region.
