President of Republic Condoles South African Counterpart

On 1 September, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, expressed his deep condolences and sympathy to his South African counterpart following the massive fire, which took place in Johannesburg, causing numerous human and material losses.

This is what emerges from the following message sent by the President of the Republic to His Excellency Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of the Republic of South Africa:

“We learned with great sadness and compassion the news of the massive fire, which took place in Johannesburg, causing many human and material losses.

On the occasion of this painful tragedy, I offer to Your Excellency,  the families of the victims, and all the brotherly people of South Africa our sincere condolences and sympathy, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.”
