Minister of National Defense Receives UN Diplomat

On 17 August, in Nouakchott, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, the Minister of National Defense, received HE Mr. Leonardo Santos Simao, the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Representative of the Secretary-General for West Africa and the Sahel.

The meeting focused on the cooperative relations between Mauritania and this UN body, particularly in the area of defense.
