President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott From China

On 2 August, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to the capital, Nouakchott, from Beijing after a friendly and working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

During his stay in China, the President of the Republic took part in the opening ceremony of the 31st FISU World University Games in Chengdu at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Mr. Xi Jinping. 

His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was welcomed at Nouakchott International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, the Minister, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the two Ministers Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, some members of the government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the Deputy President of the Region of Nouakchott. 

His Excellency was accompanied during this trip by a large delegation, including: 

– Moctar Ould Diay, the Minister Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic; 

-Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development; – Mohamed Abdallah Boukhari El Vilali, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Beijing; 

-Ba Abdoullaye, the President of Nouadhibou Free Zone Authority; 

-Mohamed Ould Abdel Vettah, the Commissioner of the OMVS; 

-Ethmane Tall, an Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic;

 -Mohamed Lamine Ould Selmane, an Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic; 

-El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol; 

-Sid’Elemine Mohamed Mahmoud, the Managing Director of the Manantali Energy Company.
