Minister of Culture Meets With UNICEF Representative

The ways and means of supporting and accompanying the national youth strategy, currently in its final stages, were at the heart of the talks, on 2 August, between Mr. Ahmed Ould Sid’Ahmed Die, the Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Relations with Parliament, and Mr. Marc Lucet, the Resident Representative of UNICEF to Mauritania.

The two parties also insisted on the ways and means of activating cooperation between the two parties on youth issues, particularly the development of centers supported by UNICEF in the areas of support for girls who drop out of school, namely the pilot centers of Dar Naim and Kiffa.

It is expected that the experience of these centers will be extended, later, to other cities and wilayas of the country.
