CNDH President Meets With EU Ambassadors

On 22 June, in Nouakchott, Mr. Ahmed Salem Bouhoubeyni, the President of the National Commission for Human Rights (CNDH), was received during a working lunch by the ambassadors of the European Union to Mauritania.

The talks between the two parties focused on the human rights situation in Mauritania. The President of the CNDH presented the analysis of the Commission on the progress made, the challenges, and the prospects in this area.

He thanked the European Union countries for supporting Mauritania in promoting and protecting human rights, whether civil, political, social, or cultural.
