Prime Minister: Mauritania Committed To Being Among Leading Countries in Terms of Transparency

On 13 June, in Dakar, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Bilal Messoud, stressed that Mauritania was committed to being among the leading countries in the adoption and effective implementation of the standards and good practices decided by the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative ( EITI).

During his participation in the EITI International Forum held under the theme of ”Transparency in Transition”, he added that Mauritania would continue its action to guarantee at all times a exploitation of its natural resources respectful of the environment and sustainable development.
