On 5 June, at the end of his official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, visited the memorial of the October War in Cairo.
This is a large military museum built in 1973 and telling the story of the bravery and victory of the Egyptian people in one of the most important historical battles of their army, through a scenario of a museum exhibition documenting the stages before, during, and after the month of October.
His Excellency was received at the entrance of this great monument by the senior officers in charge of the museum who provided him with full explanations of the various sections, pieces of arms, and models used in the various exhibits.
Then, His Excellency the President of the Republic visited the large rooms reserved for the exhibitions of the October War Museum in an interactive way using new multidimensional technologies.
At the end of this visit, His Excellency recorded his impressions in the museum’s Visitors’ Book, praising the values symbolized by this memorial which glorifies the courage, heroism, and faith in the homeland that the Egyptian armed forces have consecrated throughout their history.
