Cairo: Mauritania Chairs Arab Labor Conference Closing Session

On 25 May, in Ciro, Mr. Mohamed Abdallahi Salem Ould Ahmedoua, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Civil Service and Labor, chaired the closing session of the 49th session of the Arab Labor Conference.

In his speech on this occasion, the Chairman of the Conference explained that the 49th session of the Arab Labor Conference constitutes a driving force for the march of the Arab Labor Organization toward achieving its noble objectives through decisions on points and topics of great importance.

He expressed his confidence in the approach followed by the organization to raise issues that reflect the future vision of labor markets that will positively impact our Arab social reality through the development of appropriate policies.

The aim is to develop the competitive capacities of Arab labor markets, advance the workforce, and provide social protection to all segments of society, as he put it.

He concluded his speech by thanking the Egyptian leadership and people for the warm welcome and generous hospitality.
