Geneva: Mauritania Reviews Health Policy

HE Mr. Bal Mohamed El Habib, the Permanent Representative of Mauritania to the United Nations reviewed before the seventy-sixth session of the General Assembly on Health, held in Geneva from 21 to 30 May, the national policy in the field of health.
In his speech, HE the Ambassador highlighted the tangible results of the national policy in the health field aimed at achieving the national strategic objectives dedicated to strengthening the governance of the health sector, bringing health services closer to the population, especially the most vulnerable citizens, intensifying the implementation of infrastructure, providing quality medicines, and improving human resource capacities and the operationality of services.
