Human Rights Commissioner Receives Delegation of African Observers

Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, received a high-level delegation from the African Union led by Ambassador Kalikset Aristid M’Bare, from the Department of Political Affairs, who came to observe the vote scheduled for tomorrow.

The talks touched on the various issues relating to consolidating cooperation between Mauritania and the African Union and observation of the May 13 elections.
