On 27 January, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic,  received Mr. Sidiki Kaba, the Senegalese Minister of the Armed Forces,  who handed him a written message of condolence from His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, the President of the Republic of Senegal, following the death of the late Mohamed El Moctar Ould Bah.

Shortly after the meeting, the Senegalese special envoy told the Mauritanian news agency that he and the delegation accompanying him were honored to convey to the President of the Republic and the Mauritanian people the sincere condolences of his Senegalese counterpart. , following the death of the late Mohamed El Moctar Ould Bah.

The Senegalese official praised the deceased while imploring Allah the Almighty to shower him with His Mercy and to welcome him to his Holy Paradise.

He expressed his country’s satisfaction with the participation of the President of the Republic in the Dakar 2 Summit on food sovereignty and resilience and his intervention during the Conference.
