On 17 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Oil, Mines, and Energy, met with Ms. Véronique Petit, the Ambassador of Belgium to Mauritania with residence in Rabat.

The talks touched on the cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, especially in the fields of oil, energy, and mines.
