New Batch of Tourists Arrives in Atar

The fifth flight, from France, arrived on 14 January in Atar with 87 tourists on board, as part of the tourist season (2022-2023).

In a statement to the Mauritanian news agency, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheibata, the representative of the Mauritanian Airports Company (SAM), indicated that the number of tourists arriving on board this flight is 87 tourists of various European nationalities.

He added that the arrival of these flights, despite the difficult global conditions, is a testament to the security and stability enjoyed by our country.

He stressed that all measures have been taken to ensure the success of this season, indicating that the continuation of these flights strengthens local development and contributes to the economic recovery.
