Mali’s Transitional President Ends Visit to Mauritania

His Excellency Mr. Bah N’Daw, the president of Mali’s transition, ended his working visit to Mauritania, on Thursday afternoon.

Upon his departure from Oumtounsy international airport, the President of Mali’s transition was greeted by his brother and friend, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic.

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed and Security Forces, the ambassadors of Mauritania and Mali; the wali of Nouakchott-Ouest and the president of the regional council of Nouakchott were present to bid farewell to the distinguished Malian guest.

After playing of the two national anthems, the two Presidents reviewed the military units that had come to honor them.

The Malian gust then greeted the President of the Constitutional Council, members of the accompanying delegation, members of the government, high-ranking personalities of the state, the diplomatic corps accredited to Mauritania, members of the Malian embassy in Nouakchott and representatives of the Malian community residing in our country, while the President of the Republic greeted the delegation accompanying the Malian guest.
