New Batch of Tourists Arrive in Atar

As part of the charters scheduled for the tourist season (2022-2023), the third flight from France arrived on 31 December at Atar international airport with more than 100 tourists on board.

Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheibeta, the representative of the Mauritania Airports Company

(SAM) in Atar, affirmed that the number of tourists on board this flight is 107 tourists of different European nationalities, stressing that the general climate, the country’s situation, and its tourist characteristics encourage the arrival of more visitors.

He added that the continued arrival of these flights will strengthen tourist activity in the wilaya and help improve the economic conditions of the population, indicating that all the necessary measures have been taken to welcome tourists in excellent conditions of calm, security, and discipline

It should be noted that the second flight that arrived last week from France had 89 tourists on board.
